Responsibilities The Sponsorship Coordinator leads all child sponsorship activities in the sub-District. He/she

·         Supervises the sponsorship communications activities of Community Development Facilitators and Community Volunteers

·         Trains and mentors staff and volunteers

·         Ensures timely and accurate communications between Sponsored Children and Sponsors

·         Ensures timely and accurate communications with the Country Office in Dili and Plan organizations in Europe, Australia, East Asia and North America

Skills, experience, other requirements

·         Must have fluent spoken and written English. (All written communications about sponsorship are in English. Short-listed applicants will face a difficult English test.)

·         Must have strong IT skills, including Word and Excel

·         Must be an excellent organizer and planner

·         Experience of work in international organizations is an advantage

·         Experience in community development is an advantage

·         Experience in management is an advantage

·         Must be able to ride a motorcycle, or be willing and able to learn

·         Must be willing to travel to and stay in sucos and aldeas across the District
